Affordable housing

We have a proven track record of working in partnership with registered providers and their consultants to help bring forward new affordable homes. Our expertise lies in working with our partners to identify and gain planning permission for suitable sites that can help housing providers meet their new-build ambitions.

The developments we have been involved in include new homes for affordable and social rent, as well as shared ownership properties and homes for outright sale. This might be a dozen homes on an infill site, or a completely new neighbourhood of hundreds of new homes on a previously undeveloped site.

We have also gained an enviable reputation in helping registered providers bring forward development on challenging sites where planning applications for previous residential developments have failed to get off the ground. We have worked as a planning consultant for housebuilders of all sizes from large Plc organisations and other volume housebuilders to smaller bespoke developers.

Our experience in the residential planning sector also includes working with private landowners, small developers, and contractors on planning applications for high-value bespoke homes, whether it’s a one-off single dwelling or a small, select development of several new homes.

This work often includes working with properties and land assets in rural areas and which are sometimes constrained by local planning rules and designations, such as green belt or areas of outstanding natural beauty.
