What we did
Fort Vale is world-leading, precision manufacturer of valves and fittings for the tanker industry, employing 450 staff and exporting across the globe.
Its products are used by companies worldwide in the transportation of bulk liquids in the tank container, road tanker and rail industries.
PWA was brought in to help the company achieve planning consent for a new 27,000 sq ft production facility at its headquarters in Simonstone.
The proposed development was part of an ongoing programme of investment at the site which would allow the company to achieve greater efficiency in its operations and achieve growth.
Bringing together a team of experienced project consultants, PWA was able to show how the new development would have significant benefits for the applicant while minimising any impact on neighbouring properties and communities.
