We’re pleased to announce we’ve made two promotions in our team as we continue investing in the future.
Rachael Leather, who joined us in 2017 as a planning technician, has been promoted to assistant planner.
We’ve also offered a permanent planning technician position to Molly Leonard who started with us in a support role last year while studying for her degree in environmental science.
We’ve agreed to put both Rachael and Molly through a Masters degree in Town and Country Planning to continue building the specialist knowledge and skills within the team.
Paul Walton, director of PWA Planning, comments: “Rachael and Molly have provided the planning team with a vital support function over the last few months and have impressed us immensely with their attitude and desire to learn.
“It’s great to be able to reward them through our training programme and help them build their planning careers with us.”
Rachael, who holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from University of Manchester, provides a wide range of planning support to the team. Prior to joining PWA she worked with a fuel management services provider on environmental projects with major oil and petroleum companies.
Molly who recently graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, has assisted the team on a variety of planning projects from site appraisals to monitoring of live applications.
