PWA Planning growth leads to new offices

PWA Planning is to move to new offices in Preston to support further business growth.

The consultancy – whose clients include Euro Garages, Mulbury and Ecotricity – has acquired premises at Lockside Office Park in the Riversway docklands area of the city after outgrowing its current home at Ribble Saw Mill.

PWA will move to its new home in mid-April once refurbishment work is complete.

Founded by experienced chartered town planner Paul Walton in 2013, PWA Planning has grown to employ eight staff and is working on development projects across the UK.

Paul Walton, director of PWA Planning, said: “We’ve worked on some quality projects and landed some great clients in these last three years. We’ve now reached a stage where we need to move to grow to that next level.

“This move represents a significant investment in our future and we’re all excited to make it happen. We’ve bought the premises and this will give us the freedom and the space to carry on doing excellent work and helping our clients get their developments moving.”

The new office at Lockside Office Park, in the heart of the Riversway commercial district, gives PWA Planning 1,459 sq ft of internal floor space, a significant increase of on its current premises.

Paul added: “We’ll continue to be at the centre of the North West where much of our work is based, and by staying in Preston we’ll continue to enjoy great connectivity to the rest of the UK for our projects further afield.”

PWA Planning’s clients include housebuilders, private developers, commercial property developers, architects, surveyors and other professionals.

Projects the consultancy is currently involved in include the ongoing redevelopment of the Guild Hall and Guild Tower in Preston, a £100m Eco Park development in Gloucestershire, and Preston North End’s potential move to new state-of-the-art training facility at Ingol, Preston, part of a wider masterplan for new homes and green spaces.
