PWA advises on Mulbury homes developments

PWA Planning has submitted planning applications for two new affordable homes developments in Lancashire on behalf of Mulbury.

We acted as planning consultant to Mulbury for a development of 51 new homes off Dunrobin Drive at Euxton, near Chorley, and a scheme of 23 new homes in Barrow, near Clitheroe.

Subject to planning consent, Mulbury will build the Euxton scheme on behalf of One Vision Housing, while the Clitheroe development is being built for Trafford Housing Trust.

Emily Robinson, senior planner at PWA Planning, said: “We’re working on behalf of a number of affordable housing developers and registered providers in the North West.

“This includes working with landowners to bring them suitable land opportunities in sustainable locations and advising on all planning matters for the new housing developments. It’s an area where we’ve developed a real specialism.

“These latest two projects will help two of Mulbury’s registered provider clients to increase the supply of new affordable homes in the county.”

Subject to permission being granted, Mulbury expects to be able to make a start on both sites in spring 2019.

Cheshire-based Mulbury currently has over 750 homes under construction on 13 sites across the North West.
