A popular business park in rural Fylde will benefit from new investment after the site’s owners were granted planning permission for redeveloping the site.
Peel Hall Business Park, conveniently located close to junction 4 of the M55 between Lytham and Blackpool, will benefit from 11 new-build office units and 12 new-build industrial units.
PWA Planning, working alongside architects FWP, advised MCS Properties on achieving planning permission for the redevelopment of the site.
Some existing buildings on the site will be fully refurbished, with older dilapidated buildings being demolished to make way for the new office units, industrial units and storage solutions. New internal roads and improved parking form part of the phased masterplan for the site which will also benefit from significant landscaping to maintain its rural feel.
Matthew Brook, partner at MCS Properties, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing forward this investment in Peel Hall Business Park which will provide quality business accommodation for employers in the local area. It will also safeguard the future of a vital local employment site for many years to come.”
Louise Leyland, associate at PWA Planning, said: “The site’s location in the open countryside meant the design of the scheme had to be sympathetic to the surroundings. As part of the planning process, we worked alongside MCS Properties and the project team to ensure there was a comprehensive landscaping plan for the site that protected local habitats.”
The park is operated by a local family which helps to create a real sense of community where everyone looks out for one another.
