PWA Planning has gained planning approval on behalf of housebuilder Anwyl Homes Lancashire for 34 new homes in Preston.
Anwyl Homes will build the properties on 1.3 hectares of land off Ladybank Avenue in Fulwood.
The development will create 24 four-bedroom homes, four three-bedroom homes, and six two-bedroom apartments, with 10 of the homes made available for the affordable housing market.
Matthew Wyatt, senior planner at PWA Planning said: “We’re pleased to be supporting Anwyl’s plans to bring quality new homes to the Lancashire housing market.
“Fulwood is an ever-popular neighbourhood in Preston and these properties, on a currently vacant site, will provide much-needed homes, allowing people to put down roots close to family and friends.”
John Grime, managing director at Anwyl Homes Lancashire, says: “We are continuing to expand rapidly across the Lancashire division and this latest planning consent for a development of 34 properties in Fulwood is great news. The site is superb, located in a sought-after and already established residential area, which adds to its exclusivity. We are pleased to confirm that have made an immediate start on site.”
The development features nine types of predominantly red-brick homes to provide variation in style and appearance while remaining in keeping with existing homes in the area.
Anwyl Homes Lancashire is part of Anwyl Group. It opened a new 4,000 sq ft office at Buckshaw Village near Chorley in February 2018, targeting more than 300 completions per year.
