Jack Wilkes

Jack is an Assistant Planner with a BSc in Real Estate and an RTPI and RICS-accredited MSc in Planning from the University of Manchester. His academic work included research into England’s new build towns, which developed his interest in housing delivery and infrastructure.

He is particularly focused on how planning can support the creation of inclusive, well-connected communities. His work reflects an understanding of the broader social role planning plays in shaping places.

Jack is aligned with the RTPI’s commitment to long-term, people-focused development. He values approaches that consider both current needs and future well-being, with an emphasis on purpose-led planning.
